Spend some time with veteran publicist Ann Braithwaite! The Ask a Pro format is an open conversation where you can ask the pro about your particular situation or bounce ideas off them! Since founding Boston-based PR firm Braithwaite & Katz Communications in 1986, Ann Braithwaite and her team have promoted a wide range of organizations and artists. From NEA jazz masters, MacArthur Fellows, and Grammy Award winners to rising stars and fresh up-and-coming artists, Ann’s clients have earned wide critical acclaim and recognition. Her roster includes the Montreal Jazz Festival, Pyroclastic Records, Giant Step Arts, Delfeayo Marsalis, Miguel Zénon, Wadada Leo Smith, Fred Hersch, Maria Schneider, Kris Davis, Dominique Eade, Sara Serpa, Allegra Levy, Satoko Fujii, Javon Jackson, and many more. “Journalists love working with Ann for the quality music she connects them with,” says Sebastian Scotney of London Jazz News. “The many long-standing working relationships she has with clients is testament to the quality of her work and her dedication to promoting music.” Ann holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, and a bachelor's degree in English, magna cum laude, from Tufts University.

If you’d prefer to watch the class later, you can purchase just the video (without attending live) for $15. Video recordings are available under the Videos tab at JazzVoice.com.
