“Phrasing” the unique signature of a jazz singer. In this workshop Greta shares her observations about some of the classic, great jazz singers of all time. "Having spent 40 years singing along with them and myopically tracing every little nuance I've discovered some useful tricks!" This workshop will focus on the phrasing of Frank Sinatra and Nat "King" Cole. Greta will share practical tips on how to apply these to jazz styles, such as ballads, bluesy tunes, latin, rhythms, and of course swing. She'll break down and make understandable some of these subtle applications.
