The Jazz Vocalist’s Practice Room: Building an Effective Routine

服務說明

The Jazz Vocalist’s Practice Room: Building an Effective Routine What should a jazz vocalist actually do in the practice room? In this class, we’ll explore how to build an effective practice routine that goes beyond simply running through songs. We’ll look at practical ways to incorporate vocal technique, repertoire, ear training, rhythm and time feel, transcription, improvisation, and listening into your regular practice—and discover how these areas can reinforce one another rather than feeling like a long list of separate tasks. Whether you have 20 minutes or two hours, you’ll learn how to structure your practice time around your own goals and priorities, with strategies for practicing more purposefully, creatively, and efficiently.
