Singing 101: Resonance

Описание услуги

Resonance is what gives your voice its unique color, richness, and carrying power! In this practical and accessible session, renowned voice educator Nancy Bos explores the science and sensation of vocal resonance, helping singers understand how sound is shaped and amplified by the vocal tract. Drawing on decades of experience in voice science and pedagogy, and concepts from her acclaimed book Singing 101, Nancy will demystify how resonance works and explore the relationship between the vocal folds, vocal tract, and the sounds we create. Through clear demonstrations and easy-to-apply exercises, you'll discover how adjustments in the tongue, jaw, lips, and throat influence tone quality, projection, and vocal freedom—and how to explore a wider range of vocal colors without unnecessary tension or effort. Whether you're a beginning singer discovering the possibilities of your instrument or an experienced vocalist looking for greater flexibility, consistency, and expressive control, this class offers practical tools for developing a more resonant, efficient, and versatile voice.
