Join celebrated jazz vocalist and educator Atla DeChamplain for an inspiring master class on JazzVoice! Atla will perform a few songs live, share reflections from her artistic journey, and work with three volunteer singers in an intimate, supportive setting. Whether you're singing or observing, you’ll leave motivated and enriched. About Atla: Atla DeChamplain is a jazz vocalist, lyricist, and educator who serves as Assistant Teaching Professor of Amplified Voice at the University of Rhode Island, where she teaches jazz, gospel, and popular music. A dedicated performer and musician, she holds degrees from the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz (Hartt School) and the University of Toledo, where she studied with the legendary Jon Hendricks. Her artistry blends jazz, gospel, blues, and R&B influences, and she’s widely recognized for her vocalese work and expressive musicality.

🎶 JazzVoice Member Class Booking & Cancellation Policy For JazzVoice Members: ($35/month $350/year) If you have an active JazzVoice membership, you're welcome to book and cancel member classes at any time. There's no penalty for cancelling, and it has no impact on your access. As a member, you also have unlimited access to both live classes and video recordings of all past sessions. For One-Off Class Purchasers ($15 per class): Your $15 purchase gives you access only to the live session—recordings are not included. If you’d prefer to watch the class later, you can purchase just the video (without attending live) for $15. Video recordings are available under the Videos tab at JazzVoice.com. Please be sure you can attend before booking, as we do not offer refunds for missed or cancelled classes.
