Yancy Abríl is a vibrant Dominican-American vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and content creator from New York City. Growing up in a bustling family that values hard work and resilience, Yancy found her passion for music at a young age, participating in programs like Little Kids Rock and CUNY in the Heights. Her artistic journey has been shaped by her early performances in her community and her commitment to studying jazz in college. She graduated from SUNY Purchase as an Ella Scholar and studied with JazzVoice director Alexis Cole. As an independent artist, Yancy expertly balances her creative endeavors with the demands of the music business, emphasizing the importance of time management and financial planning for aspiring musicians. Known for her engaging online presence, she shares her expertise in content creation and marketing, helping others navigate the ever-evolving music landscape. 🎶 JazzVoice Member Class Booking & Cancellation Policy For JazzVoice Members: ($45/month $460/year) If you have an active JazzVoice membership, you're welcome to book and cancel member classes at any time. There's no penalty for cancelling, and it has no impact on your access. As a member, you also have unlimited access to both live classes and video recordings of all past sessions. For One-Off Class Purchasers ($15 per class): Your $15 purchase gives you access only to the live session—recordings are not included. If you’d prefer to watch the class later, you can purchase just the video (without attending live) for $15. Video recordings are available under the Videos tab at JazzVoice.com. Please be sure you can attend before booking, as we do not offer refunds for missed or cancelled classes.
