About Lenora Helm Hammonds: Dr. Lenora Helm Hammonds is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, lyricist, and educator whose career spans over four decades. She has performed with artists including Branford Marsalis, Antonio Hart, and Mulgrew Miller, and her recordings as a leader have earned international acclaim. A two-time Fulbright Recipient, she has also been recognized for her lifelong dedication to music education. In 2024, Dr. Helm Hammonds was appointed Dean of the Professional Education Division at Berklee College of Music, where she leads innovative programs shaping the next generation of musicians and educators.
